Now I have never been a big follower of Musicals but one will always stand out for me and it is BYE BYE BIRDIE. I was 10 years old when I watched ANN-MARGARET and BOBBY RYDELL with many other greats star in a one of the the fun and happy movies that originally was a broadway hit. Now I have met Ann Margaret and I truly never thought the opportunity would arise to meet any of the others. Now the only others still alive are Dick Van Dyke and Bobby Rydell.and when I heard that Bobby was performing in a venue not far from our location there was no question that I would hive it the college try.. So Anxious John and I camped out with hopes that the opportunity may come about. Now down deep I truly thought it I would never have the chance before today as he has been a survivor from a lung transplant to name one situation. Now he has continued to perform to crowds that have followed his music 55 years. We waited patiently at a hotel we thought where he would return and after a couple

RICKY SKAGGS has been performing for many of his 61 years and has won 14 GRAMMY AWARDS over the years and has gained legendary status with continued performing over the years. When HotDog and I heard he was playing in a venue in driving distance we could not resist to be entertained. After his show to a sold out crowd he took the time to meet and sign autographs to all those who wanted to meet and hear him tell everyone Thank You and Thanks for Coming. When I left my only thought that someone is overlooking him to be nominated and inducted in the Country Hall of Fame. I will be a leader of the band and push to have this credit to the music world to be inducted to this great institution and maybe wake up the voting assembly that he richly deserves this honor.

With the political races in high gear many of the candidates are stomping for votes and sending in others to help draw interest and get all to vote.On this special night Former PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON was drawing a nice crowd for his wife HILLARY CLINTONS bit for the White House. Speaking at a local college he kept everyone admiring that he used no cue cards and went on for about 40 minutes. Now No matter what political party or candidate You may be part of or want , You can not take away that only a few yards away is a Political Icon that lead the Most Powerful Country in the World for 8 years. Now Rocket Man and I positioned ourselves in hopes of getting a picture and our items signed . After his speech he came down to the crowd shaking as many hands that could reach him and once in a while take a item mostly books and passed them to his assistant where he would later sign them back stage. He cam over to our area and lucky for me took my book and then almost like magic took my other

As many might ponder what they may have in common and thus I will cut right to the chase. NOTHING NOTHING at all except they have been entertaining us for years with a special and unique sound but the differences are so blatant we are only fans of one now.. I will share what we and some friends experienced when these icons came to town last week. As a kid I remember my parents listening to the music of TONY BENNETT and to this day he continues to perform to sold out crowds even at 89 years old. ONY BENNETT IS A DEFINITION OF PURE CLASS IN ANY BOOK OR REAL LIFE. He put on a show that still has energy and one must realize that he must after sharing a stage and duet CD with LADY GAGA. After performing for over 90 minutes we were lucky to be ready for him when he left the venue where he did not sign. Also the manager was cordial and allowed us to approach his auto and one by one we were able to have our item signed and photos from a few feet away. When I appr

TRAVIS TRITT HAS LOST MY RESPECT I have become a big fan of country music over the years especially when my son drove or started driving a big truck and almost everyone understands the importance of their fan support. Except one, TRAVIS TRITT. A few years backs I saw his show and he exited so fast out of the venue no one could thank him and maybe he would do the same for all his fans. We took it as maybe he was tired . So once is understanding Twice is NOT. He was performing a small venue in MT Dora, Florida and is a very accessible and enjoyable spot to meet and shared moments of their performance. So once again as soon as the show was over and people had not even exited , he disappeared into the night in a car that his wife had him waiting for for a quite getaway not known to anyone except myself and maybe the promoter. There are many shows we have favored and so many have loyal fans from the days that the show was aired or in our days of seeing many of the reruns played every day adding new fans and re enforcing all the old ones. Now Walker Texas Ranger had a few years strong on TV and when as so many days allow an opportunity to meet some of the cast a few of us decided it was worth a good drive to seek if we could be successful. SHEREE J. WILSON who played Chuck Norris love interest and then wife and CLARENCE GILYARD where starring in the play DRIVING MISS DAISY and we patiently waited after the play was over. There were the 3 of us and another 2 fans waiting when we saw GILYARD strolling slowly to the hotel. After the 2 ladies getting their picture with him we politely asked if he would sign for us. He responded " I am in a rush and will sign one each" Rush , he was going at a turtle pace and his flight was not until tomorrow. After he signed one photo each we ask
