walking dead ambush at the airport

I am a strong advocate against celebrities charging for their autographs but I am still very respectful for those that do as it is the American Way to find different ways to capitalize on ones fame and make a few bucks. It has changed the landscape on those who do " Collect for the true pleasure and hobby" and those who do it to make a few bucks selling them to fans who can not meet their favorite actors in all parts of the world. Thus many stars who are charging 40 to 100 dollars to sign an item may get a better deal for those who use some ingenuity to find a star at a event or very commonly at a airport. In that said, The WALKER STALKER convention with many of the past and present stars were flying into Orlando to sell their autographs to fans who paid from 45 to 100 dollars just to attend. Again that does not count the fee for the item that one wants signed nor ( which I will never understand or condone) a picture with them. I have been told that LA, Orla

SAMMIE SMITH A TRUE CLASS ACT

Image
For People who were and are College Football Fans will not have a hard time remembering SAMMIE SMITH. He was a stand out high school player from Apopka, Florida who went on to have a great career at Florida State University 1989 to 1992 and went on to play for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL when he was a picked 9th in the draff. As a fan of the game I have been collecting many of the FSU standouts on a Helmet that I have been collecting for over 20 years. Coach Bowden and Fisher grace this piece with many others including Fred Biletnikoff, Derrick Books just to name a few. Sammie Smith was one that I did not have and on a rumor that he was a regular patron at a local restaurant, I stopped by. I met the owner Rich who was as friendly and even more helpful to assist me on this quest. He arranged with a phone call to me on the time Sammie would be stopping by and was told that he would be happy to do so. First how many stars would even be so cooperative but SAMM

THE MAN WHO BRINGS THE BEATLES ALIVE IN CARTOONS

Image
The name RON CAMPBELL is not a every day household name but his drawing of the BEATLES have been seen by Millions. He was one of the illustrators of the Beatles YELLOW SUBMARINE cartoons and his drawings make anyone marvel at his wonderful talent. He tours with his manager/assistant Scott to various locations from fine Art Studios to open market malls where I had the pleasure of meeting and viewing his talent that he shares with the world. A Friend and I waited patiently in line with a few photos that we hoped to get sign and meet this Great Talent who came from Australia. As we waited my eyes caught a glimpse of one of the pieces of genius and You guessed it, I had to buy it. Now like many artists who sell their pieces a Certificate of Authenticity comes with the piece that one buys and usually states exactly what you have purchased. For the first time in all my years I witnessed something that was truly great. When the opportunity to sit down in front of him came our turn,
