Dream Team Autographs

          There are not many acts that stay together over the years like CHEECH AND CHONG. I had seen them in 1972 for my Birthday with the opening act STEELY DAN.  Now over the years I have met TOMMY CHONG and he always has been delightful and accommodating to all his fans for autograph requests and a picture or two. Cheech was always the tougher of the two and I never had the pleasure or the opportunity to meet him until yesterday. Though he is really remembered for one half of this legendary comic team he has been in many roles that has shown his makeup as a very good actor. DUSK TO DAWN ( Loved him in that) MACHETE ( great as the gun carrying priest), Beverly Hills Chihuahua,                    Once   Upon A Time in Mexico and I could go on and on.When information came about him leaving after a show the night before, I just could not miss this chance and along with 9 others we waited for him to check in at the airport.    Since the popularity of the great show SONS of ANARCHY those with a lust for the open ride and those that partake riding motorcycles, There have been many sightings of the cast doing appearances at Harley Davidson Stores and events with motorcycle riders in mind. Now first of all I did some investigated work and found the hotel that they were staying at. Though she was voted country music's best in 1998 not every one know JO DEE MESSINA. I was able to hear her perform and got the chance to meet her which was a true delight. She loves to perform and loves her fans. She is embarking on a new tour " The ME" tour which if a chance arises try to catch her show. Normally I do not promote acts but her voice was perfect and after the show she waited on stage and went down the line shaking hands, signing autographs and taking pictures.         It never ceases to make me smile when You catch a great Movie on TV which makes me Smile and allows a reflection on some of the stars we have met over the years. Now before I write this blog you can ask 9 out of 10 people who TERRY BOZZIO is and they would have no clue. As a drummer for MISSING PERSONS and the legendary FRANK ZAPPA he developed a following but not in the standards of other famous drummers as Ginger Baker or Ringo Starr. He was playing at a local venue and I was surprised at first that he only had half the capacity in the building for his show but after tonight I realize why. He has a wonderful talent when interacting with the largest drum ensemble that anyone plays but has no interaction with his fans. One true fan that paid good money had a drumhead and asked if he would sign it after the show inside the venue and was told “He does not like to sign anything". All this person wanted for a memento of the man HE HAD respected and was turned away . As I hear the updates for JOAN RIVERS I can truly say my heart goes out to her daughter Melissa and their Family. Many People over the years have seen this 81 Year Old Personality on the red carpet, TV shows, Stand up comedy acts and Celebrity Apprentice over the years and some have judge her by what they see. She is brash at times and even controversial in her comments and during many of her shows language that may offend some. But this is Only part of her act. Having had the PLEASURE of meeting her twice over the years and still rate her as one of the Top Ten most fan friendly celebrity who not only appreciates her fans but I truly feel loves all of them. We met her after a show at a small venue some 10 years ago and there were about 5 of us patiently waiting near the stage door to only get an autograph and maybe a picture. Her Limo was running and she exited the door and the staff tried to whisk her off the auto and was told she had to get to the airport. She quickly responded,
