WHAT DOES TONY BENNETT AND MOODY BLUES HAVE IN COMMON
As many might ponder what they may have in common and thus I will cut right to the chase. NOTHING NOTHING at all except they have been entertaining us for years with a special and unique sound but the differences are so blatant we are only fans of one now.. I will share what we and some friends experienced when these icons came to town last week.
As a kid I remember my parents listening to the music of TONY BENNETT and to this day he continues to perform to sold out crowds even at 89 years old.
ONY BENNETT IS A DEFINITION OF PURE CLASS IN ANY BOOK OR REAL LIFE. He put on a show that still has energy and one must realize that he must after sharing a stage and duet CD with LADY GAGA. After performing for over 90 minutes we were lucky to be ready for him when he left the venue where he did not sign. Also the manager was cordial and allowed us to approach his auto and one by one we were able to have our item signed and
photos from a few feet away. When I approached him I share a little story about him with my Father and gave me what truly was the kindest smile I have seen in years. The moments with him will always be cherished and will always be remembered as a gentleman and a glowing tribute to his profession.
Now the Moody Blues. I grew up listening to their sound that was in a league of their own and always had them in my top ten favorites of all time until this week. They have become aloft in recognizing their fans as the years have gone by though they were once fan friendly 30 years ago. A couple of years ago Justin Hayward was performing and after the show about 15 people were waiting and never even looked at anyone and rushed out. Now as I have mentioned before graphers do not always share information but are quick to let everyone know when the celebrity or group are not very nice or receptive. Moody blues have fallen into the category of not being pleasant and may be why they are losing more fans every year. When they left the venue there was only 2 people who were fans and they never made an attempt to come over. Only 2 people . Maybe they have lost touch who bought their records and provided them a career that was their enjoyment. Too bad they are not understanding that when old fans lose interest also. They need to look and learn from Mr. Class who we all hope will continue for a few more years.
