The acting family the @Wahlberg's have ventured into the eatery business developing and promoting the business WAHLBURGERS and are opening up franchises all over the country. With the announcement of one opening in Downtown ORLANDO. We waited to see what Wahlbergs were to show up to celebrate the grand opening of their first florida eatery. This is only the first of 20 of their upcoming eateries in Central Florida "Wahlburgers" Take a look, very interesting story how this all began. Basically they produced their families recipes to share with the public and do it with a little flare at Paul's Family restaurant. As luck would be MARK and his Brother PAUL were announced they they would be greeting fans and attending a VIP Party. Though I was invited to be a part of the press because of the web site and blogs, they informed me that I would not be able to ask for any autographs. But even with entry this would not do. Regardless of what one does in achieving a trifecta success and feeling that you were so successful that a smile will be the end result. In this case autographing is my trifecta today. As we all know the autographs do not come to us we must all seek them out regardless if at events or shows. One has to have the ingenuity many times the foresight and the will in achieving our goals in meeting a special celebrity.Today was one of the days we set our goals high hoping to meet these special indivisuals with emphaszing coordinating each moment and event. Our First Stop was about an hour plus away at a carshow where TOM WOPAT famous from his days as a member of the DUKES OF HAZZARD. He was signing the first for free and after the initial one 25 dollars to sign an item. This is a deal as in a couple of weeks he was to be one of the guests at a big autograph show where he would be signing for 40 dollars on a photo and 40 dollars for a photo with. Singer PATTI LABELLE has been entertaining many of us for many years with a voice that is as beautiful as her smile. She has made many albums over the years and has written recipe books that have some delicious items including her sweet potatoe pie. Though she rarely comes to our area when she was making Orlando a stop a few of us made the journey down. After her sold out show where she played all of her hits she made the trek back to her bus. By that time we were waiting by the fence a good distance away and did not look very good for the possibility to meet her or attain an autograph. Then Ms. D who is a beautiful woman called out Please Patti Its My Birthday and did get a glance from Ms. Labelle as she entered the bus. When it looked hopeless a large Man approached us and said, " Ms. Labelle would like to meet the lady" I quickly said I with her and so are these guys and he waved us all to come along. One by one we entered her bus and shared a few moment

I had never met him and when the opportunity arose where he was speaking at a Sunday Service in a nearby town, Rocket Man and I decided it may be a good time to meet one of favorites and decided to go and listen to his service.In front of a thousand people and so many more who watched him by a screen in 5 other churches, we listened and waited outside in hopes that he may come over and sign a few autographs. The legendary band CROSBY ,STILLS and NASH have been performing together since WOODSTOCK and have left a mark on on the music scene like so few before them. Though they still perform occasionally and tour as a group they also perform individually at various venues. One of the local venues had the foresight to book him and with a sold out show he performed a 20 song set and delighted the crowd who love his sound dating back to the HOLLIES. This was a must to get an autograph and meet him after the show with no guarantees that it would happen. I have loved his sound and though I had a ticket to WOODSTOCK (my Mother would not let me go as I was too young at the time but I still have the unused ticket though). For those who grew up and were exposed to a new wave of music that revolutionized the way we heard in the 60's there were several bands that lead the way with the most loyal of fans who rushed to music store to buy the new record released. You had the Beatles, The Stones, Kinks and to many you had the 4 Seasons. Though the newer generation have experienced their music of the 4 Seasons by the hit play JERSEY BOYS many still can see the Lead singer FRANKIE VALLI as the front man for this Hall of Fame Musical legend and sound.
