Dream Team Autographs

My late and great Father always take a moment before doing or writing anything when one is angry. So after sleeping on it the following is our encounter with actor and musician Kevin Costner. He is an egotistical and pompous individual that one does not see unless trying to be a fan with hopes of getting an autograph. Three of us traveled a good distance for his show with his band and I truly was a big fan never missing any of his movies. FIELDS Of DREAMS, WATERWORLD and AT CLOSE RANGE were one of my all time favorites. After the show we positioned ourselves out back where his bus was with about 30 people, 28 of them fans. He came over and signed for two EBAYERS and approach myself and another young lady . He looked right thru us smirking and proceeded down the line as if he was the King and we were his subjects. All of this took maybe two minutes and off he went on his bus. I called to his so called tour manager who was uncaring and rude as his boss. " He is already resting and

My buddy and I decided to catch the 9th season winner of American Idol in a small venue do an acoustic set for almost 2 hours. I was truly surprised and impressed in his singing talents especially BLACKBIRD SONG from WALKING DEAD SERIES. We positioned ourselves to be ready to get his autograph and were able to stop him immediately after his show. I politely asked if he would mind signing a couple of items and he replied " No problem". Then he Reacted like so many have done in the past. As he signed " we will see that on EBAY tomorrow" and even with us saying they will not be, he continued on. " I know the game as I live in LA so I do not care. They need a picture also to prove it was signed" . He just did not believe us due mainly that with a line of about 15 people we were the only ones with a photo and an Idol history book. It truly ruined the moment and though he was nice enough to stop, sign and take a picture with he did believe his signature

A few of the steadfast crazes decided to meet the once and I mean once heart throb David Cassidy who was performing in venue that was very accessible to meet their fans. Now I am not a person who ever says" I told You So" but I warned them be prepared that he is a real A-Hole when asking for an autograph. Though it was many years ago that I witnessed a truly rude behavior I thought maybe he mellowed out. I had to see for myself and hoped I was wrong.With several episodes that have been widely documented for DUIs you would hope maybe he would change to improve his public image. So I will cut to the chase with some things may never change and he is one that is now at the top of the list. As he exited the back he kept rambling to a few who paid good money" I am in a rush and have to go" refusing to sign ANY autographs even with a few pleads as he sat in the front seat with the window up. We have been absent from writing any blogs of late mainly due to no celebrities that were on my "A" list that I had to meet. Until last night when HOWIE MANDEL was doing a standup show in a local venue. With Hotdog, Rocket-man and Schoolboy we headed out and positioned ourselves to approach him in a non aggressive manner. Like clockwork he exited with security who quickly positioned themselves and said " No autographs as he has to catch a plane". But HOWIE responded " I do not want to disappoint anyone" and grabbed a marker and within 20 seconds signed 7 items but did not take any pictures. He jumped into his ride and if you blinked you would have missed him. As we reflected this " Quickie " we looked at our each item and EVERY autograph HOWIE signed was different. It just shows that if a document was examined all would be authentic even though that all were so Different . HOWIE was kind to even do one but the truth of it all was h
