RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS
Over my lifetime I have witnessed more concerts than I could ever remember. Some stand out such as THE STONES, CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH, JAMES GANG and so many others. Tonight I just didn't just witness but experienced the group , the one and only RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS along with 30 thousand die hard fans who never sat down for 2 hours playing hit after hit. Now before I became a convert tonight, I never realized how amazing these 4 guys were. They played liked individuals but were so  in synced as one band , you were hypnotized as the music became one. CHAD SMITH played and was a part of his drums never once tiring even with breaking numerous drum sticks with a passion I have not seen since KEITH MOON. The Guitarist JOSH bounced up and down playing every riff never missing a single beat. FLEA on base appeared to fly back and forth on the stage making everyone feel he was playing just for them with pants that expressed the freedom of their music. ANTHONY the lead singer danced for 2 hours back and forth on the stage with his trademark removing his shirt but amazed me on his never ending glow and remembering every word of every song . The audience also sang along with many of the songs in some of the best harmony I have ever heard. We were fortunate to be invited to VIP party and Chas and Josh were the only ones to show as Flea and Anthony are usually no shows but That did not damper what I experienced on a unbeatable and unbelievable show that I will not forget. If you can serve up some RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS when the chances that will satisfy you like so very few

We were watching the championship Basketball game when breaking news of the shooting of singer Christina Grimmie flashed across the bottom of the screen on one of the local TV stations here in Orlando. Though I was not very familiar with Christina though I did remember her powerful performance in the VOICE competion which she placed a respectful 3rd. What I was truly familiar was the venue where this tragedy happen called the PLAZA LIVE. I have seen many shows there and have met even more acts after with most signing autographs and taking photos with all their different fans. This senseless shooting happened in the lobby with a meet and greet after her show where fans get the opportunity to mingle up close and personal. Most Meet and Greet opportunities can cost an arm and leg and usually is really there for the singers or groups to add more money into their pocket . ACTORS JOHN ASHTON and LISA EILBACHER HAVE RESTORED MY FAITH IN HOLLYWOOD

The Central Florida Film Festival was showing BEVERLY HILLS COP and showing up for a Q&A were John Ashton and Lisa Eilbacher two of the main stars who played along side Eddie Murphy. They sat on stage and spoked candidly about the movie and acting in general. I did not know Slyvester Stallone was the first choice and only John saw the finished project and only once. John spoke passionately that true acting is found on the stage as movies are always in the hands of the editors and Director. Personally never looked at it that way but it makes perfect sense. John mentioned that with several takes the one you might think was your best may end of the cutting floor with the final choice by the Director. Lisa spoke of her famous curls that many talked about and how much fun they all had during filming. Lisa spoke of her role in An Officer and a Gentleman and giving it up to raise a family. As millions are THE WALKING DEAD Series is followed like no other show that I can remember and is without a doubt my favorite. Now like many celebrities they only time one gets up and close are at Autograph Shows where people pay for an autograph with their favorite star. Now I can not say I have never paid for an autograph but will never pay for a photo with. About twenty " professional graphers " were prepared at a site that we all know in hopes of meeting many celebs who were attending a one day event that some of us donated money for the survivors of the ORLANDO PULSE NIGHT CLUB SHOOTING. Several started to file by including Director Greg Nictero who though in a rush was pleasant to all. Some harassed LAUEN COHAN who even barked at many "You guys are ridiculous " and signed a few with a Scribble that no one will know in a few years.
