MEREDITH VIEIRA IS A TRUE SUNSHINE TO EVERYONE

Its always a true pleasure when you meet a celebrity who is as kind and gracious as they seem tp be on TV or the movies. Now as everyone knows that is not always what materializes but in the case pf Meredith Vieira she is as genuine as she has always appeared.Ms. Vieira was the guest narrator for DISNEYs CANDLELIGHT PROCESSIONAL and was one on my personal list that I always wanted to meet and speak a few words. Most of us still remember her from her days with the TODAY SHOW and sadly when she left the show has never been the same. She cared for her ailing husband and then did Who Wants to be a Millionaire and now her own show appears daily. I have never heard a bad word about her and I will continue to be a Pied Piper on her greatness as a person and the way she handles her fame. As she approached us she was smiling and appearing quite happy after leading the narration that cover over 4 hours . We politely asked if we could ask for an autograph and with a smile a mile wide she said " Sure. I would love to". She made one feel like we have know her for years and never flinch with a few asking a photo with her. Though she had the sunglasses tan she is a beautiful on the outside as she is in. When I mentioned that my patients and especially my wife love her at the beginning of the meet she still had the awareness to say. " Tell Your Wife and Everyone Thank You for Caring" . I only wish that all personalities could follow her lead and never forgetting who got them thee. Ms. Vieira still knows and that is why Everyone will always love this Sunshine of Love.

We were watching the championship Basketball game when breaking news of the shooting of singer Christina Grimmie flashed across the bottom of the screen on one of the local TV stations here in Orlando. Though I was not very familiar with Christina though I did remember her powerful performance in the VOICE competion which she placed a respectful 3rd. What I was truly familiar was the venue where this tragedy happen called the PLAZA LIVE. I have seen many shows there and have met even more acts after with most signing autographs and taking photos with all their different fans. This senseless shooting happened in the lobby with a meet and greet after her show where fans get the opportunity to mingle up close and personal. Most Meet and Greet opportunities can cost an arm and leg and usually is really there for the singers or groups to add more money into their pocket . ACTORS JOHN ASHTON and LISA EILBACHER HAVE RESTORED MY FAITH IN HOLLYWOOD

The Central Florida Film Festival was showing BEVERLY HILLS COP and showing up for a Q&A were John Ashton and Lisa Eilbacher two of the main stars who played along side Eddie Murphy. They sat on stage and spoked candidly about the movie and acting in general. I did not know Slyvester Stallone was the first choice and only John saw the finished project and only once. John spoke passionately that true acting is found on the stage as movies are always in the hands of the editors and Director. Personally never looked at it that way but it makes perfect sense. John mentioned that with several takes the one you might think was your best may end of the cutting floor with the final choice by the Director. Lisa spoke of her famous curls that many talked about and how much fun they all had during filming. Lisa spoke of her role in An Officer and a Gentleman and giving it up to raise a family. As millions are THE WALKING DEAD Series is followed like no other show that I can remember and is without a doubt my favorite. Now like many celebrities they only time one gets up and close are at Autograph Shows where people pay for an autograph with their favorite star. Now I can not say I have never paid for an autograph but will never pay for a photo with. About twenty " professional graphers " were prepared at a site that we all know in hopes of meeting many celebs who were attending a one day event that some of us donated money for the survivors of the ORLANDO PULSE NIGHT CLUB SHOOTING. Several started to file by including Director Greg Nictero who though in a rush was pleasant to all. Some harassed LAUEN COHAN who even barked at many "You guys are ridiculous " and signed a few with a Scribble that no one will know in a few years.
