BB KING IS GONE BUT THE THRILL WILL REMAIN
Today all over social media and from close friends have told all the world that the King of the Blues BB KING has left to jam in heaven. I met BB King 5 times over his years of playing and though his tolerance to autograph seekers waned in the late years , I still have one of the greatest moments that My Son and I will never forget.
We managed to maneuver ourselves on a meet and greet line after one of his shows at his club where people had paid 1000 dollars for a meet and greet. As we stood in line we seemed to blend in and no one asked us for a badge or why we were there. So apx 10 people including us and a friend waited patiently to have a royal audience with the King himself. And WE Did. He was kind, joyful and very talkative about his years in music and never hesitated to expand information on questions we asked. He signed away and what will never leave me is the way he held our hands as a friend would when we sat side by side with him in our picture which will always be one of my favorites. Though in body he has left us , his music will play on for generations on LPs, CDs and radio. Rest in Peace BB. You are one of a kind and We all thank You for Music that has enriched our life's.
