WHO'S AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD WOLF
I decided to enjoy some culture the other night and My friend HotDog and I went and caught a Blues Festival that was here in town. It was greatly attended by about 10 thousand people to hear the songs of the blues from 3 stages. TIFFANY the 80's young sensation( did remake of Tommy James hit Think We are alone now) was the main headliner. CASSANDRA LEWIS was the lead up and She should have been the main act not Tiffany but I am not the organizer.
We positioned ourselves near the side of the stage and noticed there were 2 other graphers with albums in hopes of getting them autographed. TIFFANYs moments on stage lasted under a hour and even repeated her one big hit twice. She seemed personal and came off the stage( much to the delight of many I was told that it was over) and had a few people of security surrounding her. She signed 3 pictures and said " I have to go" There was no waiting car limo nothing. But she had to go. So Hotdog and I who are persistent like a true grapher followed and saw that they entered a building around the corner. We decided to wait in the parking lot and would politely ask if she would sign our items and maybe a picture. As we waited about 10 minutes and very nice young lady came out and I made my pitch to her about what our request would be. She went inside and returned with one of the her helpers and we told him also our simple request. He proceeded to say " Only One of You Guys can come in" Puzzled and never understanding it and told Hotdog " You can Go" but he wanted me to go instead. So I did thru various mazes and to a small room where Tiffany sat. She signed an album and photo ,took a picture and I thanked her for her time.
NOW THE KICKER
When I went back the nice young lady was still there and Hotdog said " You need to hear this One" She told us that Tiffany thought we were "Two Old Man stalking her in the Parking Lot" . She looked older than us. I started laughing and the Young lady summed it up perfectly. She said" That's so crazy. She saw a strange guy by the stage( I saw him also) and she thought You two were following her. Sure Just to get an autograph. Anyone could tell that. She should be happy that anyone wants her autograph after all these years. Anyway I liked Debbie Gibson more in those days she said laughingly. Now I can understand if we looked liked slugs but we were dressed for the occasion and Tiffany can always rest assure, I will Never GO out of my way to see her or listen to her music again.
