SONS OF ANARCHY ON A FRIENDLY BASIS
Since the popularity of the great show SONS of ANARCHY those with a lust for the open ride and those that partake riding motorcycles, There have been many sightings of the cast doing appearances at Harley Davidson Stores and events with motorcycle riders in mind. There was such an event taking place at a nearby Harley Davidson Establishment and My Son , grapher Hotdog and his brother who rides decided to meet them. Now first of all I did some investigated work and found the hotel that they were staying at. Some we decided to test our luck and possibly save the aggravation of waiting and also paying to have the privilege to shake their hand and take a picture and autograph. The company was good, and before long they were spotted.
We politely asked if we could get an autograph and Mark Boone firmly said" We are getting paid for the event and You will have to go to the dealership" They got into a bus and we debated for a moment and said what the hell. So we decided we would wait with the other fans and pay the 30 dollars to meet them. I truthfully am so against paying for meeting someone and rarely do it but we were not sure that the opportunity would come again. Much to our surprise there was about a thousand people waiting. WOW. So we got in line as if everyone was cattle and waited. And we Waited. And Waited. The line moved very slowly and after 4 hours( That's correct 4 hours) we finally got the chance to meet them.
TOMMY FLANAGAN who played also in Gladiator and Braveheart has been always one of my favorites. He loves to drink but is a standby up guy and loves to meet his fans. RYAN HURST who plays Opie, was terrific and really looked like he enjoy meeting everyone. MARK BOONE was also pleasant especially to the women and though there was a limit of only one autograph each, well you can imagine I usually do not follow all the rules and got a few more than that. As we walked away the waiting behind us, it truly was pleasant and to use the old saying" Sometimes you have to wait for good things to happen" and that was so true tonight.
