Tomorrow is another day

When you are a grapher either for profit or just for fun it is NEVER a guarantee that you will see or get an autograph of someone you are trying to meet. Today was and up and down day and it started quite well with the opportunity to meet and share a few words with Actor WARWICK DAVIS famous for roles in WILLOW, STAR WARS and the HARRY POTTER SERIES.  He was doing a full day of meeting and signing autographs at Disney for the Star War Celebration and you had to realize that he put in a long day. As he exited his vehicle there were 6 graphers waiting for a chance to sign various photos and take a picture or two. He did without any reservations, smiled for all the photos and was the perfect celebrity we had heard about and were hoping to see that he was terrific.
Now we had heard from some reliable information that singer PHIL COLLINS was also in town and he was truly one of all of our favorites and a must to meet. I personally was his body guard in 1987 when he performed in Orlando but it was only one night and I doubt he would even remember.

We waited for approx 2 1/2 hours sharing stories and letting the time pass quite fast I must say. Then we noticed a van pull up about 10 PM and he exited with his 2 kids. We started to approach him and out of his mouth came" I have to put these kids to bed and I am on Holiday" and he just kept going. He never looked back though I did see one of his sons look at us all pretty dumb founded. Part of me did understand that he was probably tired, he was on vacation but we were only 6 of us and more than polite. I kept hoping to here I will put them to bed and be back in 15 minutes or I will sign one each. But that was only my imagination and we and I have to say Collins also lost as we would have treated him like royalty.  As we drove home in my thoughts To Paraphrase Scarlet O'Hara, was “Tomorrow is another Day".
