THE PASSING OG LEONARD COHEN, JANET RENO AND LEON RUSSELL and ROBERT VAUGHN

What a strange week which makes one feel how important life is with the passing of four personalities that we grew up. LEONARD COHEN had a following that no all appreciated with his writing of songs and poetry a mainstream in our daily thoughts. His song HALLELUJAH one of the greatest songs ever written. JANET RENO who was a political icon in the world of Washington and World politics. She was the first woman attorney general which she held for 8 years in CLINTON era. She made some difficult and controversial decisions including Waco Drive and ran unsuccessfully for Governor of Florida. I met her several times and her size made her look a little awkward but one of the kindest people one could ever meet.
Actor ROBERT VAUGHN who graced TV and the movies ever since his great role in MAGNIFICENT SEVEN as the gunslinger who lost some of his nerve but regained in the end. Most remember him as Solo in THE MAN FROM UNCLE and one could recognize him especially by the smooth sound of his voice and the perfect expression of his words. Today I just heard that Singer LEON RUSSELL also passed. I always enjoyed his music from the first time I witnessed with My Brother and friends CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. We sat just above where he played singing and sounding like he had for years. It was several years later I watched him be transported by a golf cart and enter the stage on 2 canes very gingerly. I thought then that all the big stars that I watched and enjoyed were aging so quickly before my eyes. For years his manager took your items on the bus you wanted autographed and all came back with his flowing LR. I will say it all the time Life is hort and keep paying it forward
